Illustrating that the Obama Administration is truly pro abortion, (and understands how to bury bad news) the White House announced late last Friday the signing of an executive order to eliminate the “Mexico City” policy, which had prevented US taxpayer funded abortions in foreign countries. Releasing bad news on a Friday is often done to “bury” potentially damaging stories in the weekend cycle. (The reason you are getting this today instead of last Friday is to make sure you didn’t miss the story over the weekend.)In 1984, President Reagan initiated the “Mexico City” policy. Since the end of the Reagan Administration, the policy had been affirmed and renewed by Presidents George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush, while President Clinton, and now President Obama, have chosen to send our tax dollars overseas to pay for abortions.
Sending US tax dollars to kill babies in other countries during an economic downturn is wrong on several levels. First, abortion kills innocent human beings. Second, taxpayers who have moral objections to those killings are being forced to help pay for them. Third, demographers and economists are warning that a lack of workers will create further economic woes. We need more people, not fewer, to reverse the economic downturn!
To further illustrate the culture of death on display in Washington, Speaker Pelosi went so far as to say that killing large segments of the next generation “will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.”
These irrational and wicked arguments for promoting abortion are also evident in Iowa. When a recent report revealed that as many as one in three Iowa babies are born out of wedlock, some “experts” used that as an excuse to promote Planned Parenthood-style “family planning,” including abortion. According to a January 24th article in the Quad City Times, Deb Madison-Levi, a spokesperson for an organization staffed largely by liberal political insiders called “The Iowa Initiative,” claimed that “every dollar invested in family planning saves $4 in public funding.”
With apparent disregard for the need to grow our workforce and tax base, some chose to see unplanned babies as a “punishment,” and a burden to society. Instead of spending tax dollars to kill more babies, our leaders should promote healthy marriages and strong families. According to Psalm 127, children are a blessing, and in Genesis 1:28 God instructs us to be fruitful and multiply. Now is the time to reaffirm the importance of marriage and family in restoring a thriving society. Let there be no confusion: killing babies will not stimulate the economy. Killing babies is societal suicide.

This is going to be a LONG four years. Let's just "HOPE" they don't "CHANGE" so much that we can't restore the republic after they're gone.
